Class Format... Any Suggestions??
I wanted to take some time to touch upon the format of how class has been. After talking with another student, I was reminded of how well the open class format worked. In other words, the days when we had selected readings to do and then left the class open to a general discussion. This is not to say the recent classes have not been utilized successfully. Variety and change is necessary to provide a good class format. I have walked out of most classes with a sense of productivity. We should consider going back to the open format for a little while. I welcome other thoughts and recommendations...

good suggestion, Brandon. I was thinking about us reading another chapter from the yellow book and a couple of particular articles from the resource list before we went to the book Gamer Theory. Was that something like you in mind or something else?
Yes sounds like a plan.
I agree with you. I feel like we haven't had a really good discussion in a while. It's been a lot more group oriented, which is also productive, but I like group discussions more.
-that was mike
I like to open forum because it's easier for me to say how I feel. The class seems like it functions best with a fluid set up for the day. We are more productive.
